Winter Chill has gone but there is still a nip in the air

Uttar Pradesh Weather Update for February 13, 2025

Lucknow: The winter chill in Uttar Pradesh continues to subside. However, the recent strong winds have slightly increased the cold sensation. Despite this, the bright sunlight during the daytime has minimized the impact of the winds. According to weather forecasts, strong winds blowing at a speed of 20 to 30 km/h are expected across the state over the next two days. Additionally, from February 15, foggy conditions may develop in some areas during the night and early morning. However, the Meteorological Department has not issued any fog-related alerts yet.

On February 13, the weather across Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain dry. Both western and eastern regions of the state may experience strong winds at speeds of 20 to 30 km/h. Similarly, on February 14, clear weather is anticipated, accompanied by winds blowing at similar speeds in both regions. The Meteorological Department has not issued any warnings for this period. From February 15 to 18, clear weather conditions are likely to persist across the state.

According to the Meteorological Department, foggy conditions may reappear in the state from February 15. Between February 15 and 18, shallow fog is expected to form in some areas during late night and early morning hours. Meanwhile, temperatures in the state have started to rise. The minimum temperature has now exceeded 10°C. Ayodhya recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 10°C, while Fursatganj reported 10.5°C, Bulandshahr 10.6°C, Muzaffarnagar 10.8°C, Fatehgarh 10.8°C, and Bahraich 10.8°C. In terms of maximum temperatures, Fatehpur recorded 24.2°C, Muzaffarnagar 24.5°C, Fatehgarh 24.8°C, Bulandshahr 26.2°C, and Najibabad 25.8°C.
